WHERE & WHEN:
The
Retreat will convene at The
Ramada Gateway Hotel
(see details below) on August 16, 17 & 18, 2010, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

the last day of the
Retreat, it may be necessary to stay for a somewhat longer period
that evening.
The meetings will be held at
The
Ramada Gateway Hotel
at which sleeping rooms
are arranged for students. Students are encouraged to stay at the seminar
hotel.
Be sure to ask the hotel for the Council's group
rate -- they will not volunteer it! If you fail to ask, we won't fight your
battle for you with the front desk.
Students not
staying at the seminar hotel must pay a one-time additional $50.00 fee in

COURSE TEXT:
The course text for the Retreat will
be our text of Florida laws and regulations which will be used to
address issues of law plus other handouts, as needed. We have updated
these texts to be current to May, 2010. This is especially important now
since the Department of Agriculture, Division of Consumer Services, has
taken over the Board of Professional Surveyors & Mappers from the
Department of Business & Professional Regulation. In fact, the rules
regulating the Board have now changed from 61G-17, F.A.C. to 5J-17,
F.A.C. If you have your copy of the text with you at the Retreat, you
will not be required to purchase another set. We’ll take major
credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) as well
as checks and cash at the Retreat. To obtain your text materials in
advance of the Retreat, please send your $95.00 payment ($75.00 for the
text plus $20.00 shipping and handling) to:
