Surveying
license/registration renewal in the States served by our
Councils requires Continuing Professional Units or Hours ("CEU’s")
for Education, Competency, or Development. Our current
Council members receive FREE CEU’s by taking and passing our
correspondence courses listed in the drop-down menu below or
by attending our FREE-to-current-members

at no charge for evaluation purposes. To submit your
completed correspondence course examinations for grading and
award of our certificates of completion for passing grades,
join the State Council of your choice from the list in the
drop-down menu on the right-hand side of this page.
In May, 2008, our
Council sent out a postcard to all licensed Florida
Professional Surveyors & Mappers ("PSM"s") that
contained the following statement:
"Starting November, 2008, it will
be necessary for members to renew their membership every
year in order to receive the full 24 credits required
for PSM Recertification per biennial. Members cannot
renew every other year and receive the full 24 credits.
Members who wish to renew every other year may receive
12 credits per renewal year."
Here's how this
new policy works: PSM’s who were Council
members in 2008- 2009 as well as in 2009-2010 will receive
the full 24 credits for attending this Retreat. For
PSM’s who were not Council members in 2008-
2009 as well as in 2009-2010 will only receive 12 credits
for attending this Retreat unless their 2008-2009
membership fee of $225.00 is paid together with their
2009-2010 membership fees.

the correspondence courses below are provided for our current
members to complete and use for their current land surveyor
license renewal requirements. Each passed course provides six
(6) hours of continuing education/professional development
credit. All files are in Adobe Acrobat
"pdf" format. Please make sure that the
